The Ministry of Education through MoE’s innovation cell (MIC) launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program in collaboration with AICTE for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to systematically foster the culture of innovation and startup ecosystem in educational institutions. HEIs are required to establish IIC on their campus and make it functional. The IIC model is designed to address the existing challenges/issues in HEIs such as fewer numbers, occasional and unplanned Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) activities with low involvement of top leadership, lack of coherence, and absence of synergy in resource mobilization, deployment, and under utilization of the creative potential of youths as a major barrier for vibrant I&E ecosystem to emerge from HEIs.

Our Institute IIC cell ID (IC202217869) has been established in year 2022.The faculty representation of council members of IIC at our institution is attached as per Annexure. All the faculty members of Annexure are responsible for the role assigned to them and they have to work for the smooth functioning and implementation of various activities of the cell within time limit.
